Date blanking usually happens in the early dating stage. When you're getting to know somebody it can be hard to think of things to talk about. The mood of your date can change fast depending on your communication. If there is to much awkward silence, then neither of you is comfortable and are probably bored. Blanking in this situation can cause your date to rethink their reasoning to saying yes. Start with some easy questions and work you way up to something more personal once you feel comfortable. Here are some simple questions that may or may not start a conversation between you and your date.
1.What do you like to do for fun?
2.What's are your passions in life?
3.What do you hate most about meeting someone on a first date?
4. What kind of music are you interesrted in?
5. Have you ever traveled anywhere you might wish to return, if not where do you wish to visit ?
6. Do you believe in luck, and do you have any lucky charms?
7. How would he/she plan to survive a zombie apocoloypse (this one is sure to start a conversation...if they like zombies)?
Simple questions can save you from an awkward silence, and maybe even be the reason you get a second date. If your waiting for them to initiate the conversation and they won't, then simply start talking about all your past relationships and your future. Make sure to include them in your future ideas. Most people will get scared of this and think of a way to leave
, It's their job to entertain you if they asked you out in the first place, so why not have some fun with it if they decide to be awkward and boring. Date blanking happens to everyone atleast once , and how you recover from it can make-or-break your chances of date #2.
